1. Upload your document. ArloPlus supports PDFs, Word documents (.docx), text files, CSV and Excel spreadsheets, images, and even audio/video files.
2. Automatic processing. The platform extracts text from your file, splits it into searchable chunks, and converts each chunk into a vector embedding (a mathematical representation of meaning).
3. Ask questions. Type any question about the document in the chat. The AI retrieves the most relevant sections and generates a response grounded in the actual document content.

The AI doesn't guess or make things up. Every answer is based on the text it retrieved from your uploaded files, so you can verify the information against the original source.

• No permanent file storage: uploaded files are processed (text extracted and embedded) then immediately deleted from the server. Only the searchable vector data persists during your session.
• Session ownership validation: every API request verifies that the user owns the session before returning any data.
